Sheet2QFX · macOS

Your bank spreadsheet.
Ready for Quicken.

Sheet2QFX converts XLSX files to Quicken-format QFX files. Review your bank transactions, map the fields, and export a file ready to import into Quicken.

Requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later.

Sheet2QFX is independently developed. It is not made by Quicken and is not affiliated with Quicken in any way.

From spreadsheet to import

A focused workflow for bank exports.

Map and shape your fields

Assign Date, Amount, Payee, and Memo columns, and save a named profile for the next export. Combine columns into a Payee or Memo with templates, and clean up text with regex rules.

See what will be exported

Review every row in a table with a status: included, excluded by you, error, or duplicate of an earlier row. Exclude any row before exporting.

Keep account settings

Set your bank ID, account ID, account type, and currency. The app remembers them for future conversions.

Three steps. One useful file.

  1. Open your XLSX

Select your bank export and confirm the correct header row.

  2. Map and review

Choose the column mappings and check your account settings and transactions.

  3. Export your QFX

Save the converted file, then import it into Quicken.

Good to know

Which file formats does it support?

XLSX spreadsheets in, QFX files out. It does not convert PDFs or use OCR.

Which banks does it work with?

Sheet2QFX was developed and tested with BBVA exports. For other banks you map the columns yourself, but other layouts have not been tested as widely. Check the totals in Quicken after your first import.

Is this a browser-based converter?

No. Conversion happens in the native macOS app, on your Mac. Your spreadsheets are not uploaded anywhere.

Does it include cloud sync?

No. This is a focused local conversion tool without cloud sync.
